Our client, a renowned manufacturer in the electronics industry, excels in meeting the challenging RF and Microwave connectivity requirements. Their extensive product portfolio includes amplifiers, antennas, RF Cables, cellular modules, batteries, interconnects, load cells, amongst others. These products find applications across a wide range of sectors, such as test and measurement, communications, aerospace, and defence. In recent years, they have embarked on a growth trajectory and are now in a phase of expansion. As part of this strategic initiative, they are seeking to augment their team with the addition of a Senior Electronics Engineer.

Your new role

• Design, Developing, and testing of cutting-edge electronic systems.
• Design and develop mixed-signal circuits and subsystems, including analog and digital component selection, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and baseband systems.
• Create software solutions to interface with hardware components, develop control algorithms, and implement signal processing functionalities.
• Design and implement user-friendly graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to provide intuitive control and monitoring capabilities for our electronic products. Ensure GUIs meet usability standards and enhance the user experience.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in electronic design and development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex electronic products from concept to production.
• Experience in designing with microcontrollers and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, C/C++, and Excel VBA to facilitate efficient communication between software and hardware systems.
• Proven expertise in GUI development for user-friendly interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues related to electronic design, hardware-software integration, and system performance.
• Experience of preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices related to electronic design and development.
