An MNC focusing in the manufacturing of medical devices is currently looking out for Customer Service Representatives (1 year contract).

Location: Mapletree Business City
Duration: 1 year contract, ongoing basis
Salary: up to $4,500 per month + 1 month yearly completion bonus + variable bonus

Your new role

  • This position is responsible for frontline Customer Service activity, directly engaging with customers’ purchasing and logistics teams.
  • Customers may include Sales and Marketing Intermediaries (SMIs) and possibly healthcare institutions directly.
  • The Specialist will also assist the sales manager with completing SMI researching and assessment of distributors in accordance with LVN standard operation procedure.
  • The Specialist is also responsible for managing and archiving all the documents related to distributor management.
  • Communication with distributors to ensure that the relevant information is timely and effectively transferred.
  • Apply simple, cost-effective working methodology in day-to-day operations to maximize results.
  • Ensure distributors conduct business in full compliance to behavior in business and competition.
  • Attend to Customer Service emails for response to and collection of customer Purchase Orders
  • Be proficient in taking orders - both by email and phone
  • Respond to all Replenishments of stock orders in a timely manner
  • Respond to all customer enquiries (internal and external) in a timely manner
  • Ensure credits to be completed in a timely manner


What you'll need to succeed
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a customer service representative preferably in a commercial/sales or manufacturing/production setting of medical devices
  • Experience of team play for supporting Sales Best Practices and Sales Metrics; translating that data into a progressive, tactical and strategic plan of action, which targets improved account performance.
  • Experience in multinational companies across the logistics, tenders, customer support function
  • Experience within the pharma or medical device industry is a plus but not a must
