A UK based insurance broker seeking to hire a Finance Support (8 months contract), up to $6,000 per month.
Location: Raffles Place
Duration: 8 months contract
Salary: up to $6,000 (+ pro-rated completion bonus)
Your new role
- Responsible for managing full sets of accounts for 1 primary legal entity and 1 smaller legal entity including preparing and uploading of journal entries in SUN/ D365, monthly BS schedules and bank/ interco/ premium/ claims reconciliation from ARAP to GL modules.
- Perform timely month end financial closing, management reporting and analytics.
- Assist in the preparation of Budget and Forecast in excel.
- Support quarterly GST reporting and annual MAS/ IRAS/ Statistics Singapore reporting.
- Support regulatory internal and external audit.
- Involve in the invoice to cash cycle with active liaison with Tech Admin team and UK IBA to ensure completeness, accuracy and timely revenue recognition and funds application.
- Active liaison with UK IBA to ensure smooth finance operations support.
- Assist with improvement and implementation of accounting processes to strengthen internal control and efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audit/ insurance/ broking is a plus but not compulsory at all
- Strong local accounting knowledge and regulatory reporting experience.
- Strong in Excel functions (Excel test will be given during interview)
