Your new role
- Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to plant operations, manufacturing, and process industries teams on EHS matters.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage and coordinate fire safety management activities, including fire risk assessments, fire safety inspections, and fire evacuation drills.
- Serve as the Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in plant operations, manufacturing, and process industries.
- Proven experience in fire safety management and WSHO roles.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Certifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Fire Safety Manager (CFSM) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
