As the leader of Fleet Operations, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our maritime services, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across a dynamic global landscape.

Your new role

• Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely deployment of vessels to meet operational demands.

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies, plans, and processes to ensure the fleet is aligned with current and future business needs.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize fleet utilization.

• Work closely with Fleet Engineering, QHSSE, Sustainability, and Data & Digital teams to foster cross-functional collaboration and drive innovation.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including trade unions, government ministries, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and technology providers.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of maritime professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Lead the fleet through a period of transformation, embracing new technologies, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions to navigate a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment.

• Implement effective resource allocation strategies and business continuity measures to ensure the fleet's resilience and operational readiness in the face of disruptions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Maritime Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a managerial role within the maritime industry, with a proven track record of success in senior leadership positions.

• Demonstrate exceptional executive leadership and general management capabilities, with a strong ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams.

• Possess strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.

• Exhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills, with expertise in change management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.

• Demonstrate strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute complex projects effectively.
