A leading global leader in healthcare devices is looking out for a 6-month Accountant (FP&A).
Location: Woodlands
Work hours: Mondays to Fridays, office hours
Role: initial 6 months contract (Ongoing basis)
Salary: $5,000 to $6,000 per month + completion bonus
Your new role
- Provide costing Support to Principal Accountant in MFG areas related to purchased part cost set up, Work order support and inventory related activities including some liaison with the other manufacturing functions.
- Prepare monthly Spending reports for cost centre owners and spending reviews
- Prepare and reconcile costing related balance sheets schedules
- Perform and support on the month-end closing activities relating to Project accounting
- Assist in preparing Quarterly payment requisitions for Royalty Licensors
- Provide support on providing SOX compliance test and audit documents
- Support on Global Scrap Details Approval matching and reconciliation
- Budget support in preparing Budget templates and simple budget working files for product cost set-up
- Provide support on month-end closing and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley legislation i.e. demonstrating an auditable system of controls sufficient to guarantee integrity of financial results.
- Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.
What you'll need to succeed
Diploma/Degree in Accountancy.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting
- Preferably some awareness or knowledge on Manufacturing Costing, Sourcing Operations
- Experience in Oracle, Hyperion and proficiency in managing Excel Spreadsheets will be an added advantage
