Your new role

As part of the bank’s front office expansion, you will be expected to:

Provide transaction execution support on mandates across the energy / new energy, renewables, infrastructure & transportation sectors by:

• Financial modelling, cash-flow analysis and financial projections
• Due diligence and loan documentation
• Preparation of credit applications for the internal Credit Committee
• Support all aspects of the administration & execution of transactions from origination to drawdown

Assist with the sourcing and origination of new financing opportunities by preparation of proposals and pitchbooks. Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and portfolio management by managing the loan portfolio throughout the life of the transaction. Client onboarding operations and provide effective guidance for new client onboarding including KYC.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering or related fields
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience at a leading firm in finance, syndication, structured finance, investment or project development in energy and/or infrastructure
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (including the ability to build Excel financial models from scratch) with an advanced understanding of financial statements
• Familiarity with finance structuring and documentation
• Positive attitude with good teamwork capabilities and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and stakeholder management
