Your new company

My client is a renowned Japanese multinational corporation that specializes in the design, manufacture, and distribution of advanced machine tools and industrial equipment. They are looking for an HR Operations Executive to join the team.

Your new role

  • Payroll and Compensation & Benefits:
    - Process monthly payroll for the Singapore office, ensuring timely CPF submission and relevant report preparation.
    - Handle tax filings and clearance for employees and directors, including IR8A and IR21 submissions.
    - Support data preparation and analysis for annual performance and salary increment cycles, as well as bonus payouts.

  • Manpower and Workforce Administration:
    - Ensure timely submission of regulated labor surveys to government ministries.
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including new hire setup and monthly organization chart updates.
    - Track and generate monthly lists of employees due for probation reviews, initiating reviews with line managers and following up to complete confirmation letters.
    - Manage expat administration, including work pass applications, income tax declarations, housing support, and salary/medical/educational submissions.

  • Employee Engagement and Communications:
    - Lead employee engagement initiatives to drive a high-performance culture.
    - Develop and implement internal communications strategies, recommending content for external sharing on platforms like LinkedIn and the company website.

  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
    - Manage the full recruitment portfolio, including sourcing, talent pipeline development, resume screening, agency coordination, and employment agreement preparation.
    - Track recruitment costs and ensure budget adherence.
    - Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
    - Administer work passes for foreign employees.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experienced HR professional with a strong background in payroll, manpower administration, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Proficient in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and other productivity software.
