My client is a renowned Japanese multinational corporation that specializes in the design, manufacture, and distribution of advanced machine tools and industrial equipment. They are looking for a HR Manager to join the team.
Your new role
Talent Acquisition
- Building up policy and processes for TA function
- Work in close partnership with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, so as to conceptualise clear hiring strategy, design job descriptions and interview questions.
- Source and attract potential candidates through various platforms or online channels (e.g., social platforms, professional networks, career fairs and recruitment events).
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews. The aim is to fill open positions efficiently and effectively with close partnership with internal stakeholders, ensuring hiring requirements and SLA are met.
- Conduct regular follow-up with internal stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of the recruiting plan and implementation execution.
- Recommend the best HR practices for sound talent acquisition programs/initiatives review
- Negotiating offers and onboarding
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates, building a robust candidate pipeline
- Maintained and managed vendors for recruitment of permanent headcounts and contingent workforce, including budgeting and coordination
Learning & Development
- Identify, curate, and implement innovative L&D/training and development initiatives to enhance overall training and development strategy and ensure staff are equipped for current and future challenges.
- Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the performance measurement plan for employees. Ensuring performance appraisals, KPI indicators are implemented for all employees
- Regularly review curricula and programmes to ensure alignment with organisational needs and emerging trends.
- Foster a culture of continuous, self-directed learning across the organisation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify current and emerging learning needs, develop tailored programmes to support the professional growth and development of staff.
- Implement end-to-end learning interventions using established methodologies
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programmes through quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- Prepare reports on learning outcomes and training expenditure for management review.
- Conduct periodic reviews of L&D processes and policies to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and alignment with organisational goals and industry best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest L&D technologies, methodologies, and industry trends.
- Lead or support the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of assigned L&D initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum bachelor degree with 8 years of experience, preferably with a strong background in learning & development as well as talent acquisition.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficient in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and other productivity software.
