A US MNC in the pharmaceutical space is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their Singapore office.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the SEA Finance Controller, this firm is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Accounting Operations

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory requirements. Internal Controls: Maintain and evaluate internal controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Audit and Financial Analysis: Coordinate with external auditors and perform financial analysis to support business decisions.

• Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of accountants and accounting clerks. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

You will require a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA Certification, and at least 5 to 8 years of accounting experience. You are someone who is technically strong and has excellent analytical, problem-solving and team supervisory/management experience. ERP experience and SOX experience will be a plus.
