My client is an established Singaporean printing and packaging solutions provider that is looking for a Purchasing & Inventory Specialist and will be based entirely in the office located at Joo Koon. If you have experience with inventory management, purchasing, and supplier coordination, this is a great opportunity to be part of a small, dynamic team.
Your new role
- Manage physical and digital inventory.
- Coordinate manufacturing schedules based on customer orders.
- Plan purchasing strategies to reduce costs.
- Organise and schedule deliveries to keep production running smoothly.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues like defective goods.
- Work with QA on supplier audits and ensure materials meet company standards.
- Conduct monthly stock checks and ensure system accuracy.
- Prepare reports and maintain daily purchasing operations.
- Mentor junior purchasers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Min 2 years of experience in the relevant field
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
- Experience in inventory management, purchasing, and/or order fulfilment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
