An energy firm is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their Singapore office.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will primarily be looking at the end-to-end accounting and finance functions. You will be managing a team of 2 to support the local entity.

1. Financial Reporting: Oversee preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Accounting and Financial Operations: Manage accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
3. Financial Analysis and Planning: Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
5. Internal Controls and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
6. Team Management: Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and training.
7. Audit and Financial Governance: Liaise with external auditors, respond to audit findings, and implement corrective actions.

What you'll need to succeed

You will require a Bachelor's degree and at least 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience. Team management or supervisory experience is a plus.
