A manufacturing firm is looking for a Compliance Manager / Director to join their Singapore office.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the MD, your role will entail the below:
- Compliance Program Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Research and Analysis: Research and analyse regulatory changes, updates, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Audit and Risk Management: Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to employees on compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- 5Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on compliance metrics, including audit results, compliance breaches, and corrective actions.
- Supply Chain Compliance: Ensure that suppliers and third-party vendors comply with our compliance policies and procedures.
- Certification and Accreditation: Maintain and renew certifications and accreditations, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
- Compliance Communication: Communicate compliance policies, procedures, and changes to employees, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Review, negotiate, and draft contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing, and scope of work.
- Contract Administration: Manage and administer contracts, including maintaining contract records, tracking deadlines, and ensuring compliance.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, including reviewing and negotiating indemnification clauses.
- Communication: Communicate with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure contract compliance and resolve issues.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as law, business or engineering, and at least 5 to 10 years of experience in compliance, quality, or regulatory affairs in a manufacturing environment. Certification such as CCO, CCEP, or CQA. You are someone with strong analytical, communication , and project management skills. You have experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the areas of quality , regulatory compliance or supply chain management. You are someone with in depth knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, EPA, FDA, and international standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Lean of Six Sigma Certification or Six Sigma methodlogies.
