You will be working for a reputable market-leader within the banking industry who is looking for an HR Asst Manager to be based in Singapore, covering APAC countries. This is an individual contributor role.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid HR background, extensive experience in the banking industry, and exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.

Your new role
  • Streamlining HR projects and process improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement more efficient workflows to streamline operational processes. Evaluate, design, and implement new or revised processes to address gaps, ensure compliance with regulations, and align with organisational standards.
  • Pre-employment checks and onboarding/offboarding: Support Regional HRBP in ensuring compliance with pre-employment background checks and onboarding processes, managing discrepancies and delays as needed.
  • HR Admin and Records Keeping: Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including creating new employee files, performing file audits, and drafting employment contracts and letters. Additionally, they provide HR administrative support, including processing invoices, responding to employee queries, and liaising with external partners on employment pass matters.
  • HR reporting: Assist with monthly reports, rendering support in the case management system and uploading documents to the online p-file system.
  • Compliance Risk and Control: Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements in Singapore, staying up-to-date on the latest legislation and enforcing adherence to these requirements. Liaise with the local Compliance team and administer processes related to the Representative Notification Framework, Register of Dealers, and reporting to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
What you will need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with 5–8 years of HR experience.
  • Proven working experience in the banking industry is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with process improvement, system implementation/migration such as HR technology, payroll platforms, or recruitment tools, is a definite plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employee life cycle processes is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate complex processes
