Job Summary:
The Junior Analyst will be joining one of the most highly ranked equity research franchises and teams in Asia. He/she will assist in conducting fundamental analysis of companies within the banking sector in Vietnam primarily and Asia more generally. The role involves analyzing financial statements, building and maintaining financial models, writing reports to support investment decisions, communicating and building relationships with investor relations teams of corporates and with clients over time. Proficiency in Vietnamese is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on assigned companies and industries.
• Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and other financial data.
• Prepare detailed research reports and presentations.
• Assist in the development of financial models and valuation analysis.
• Monitor industry trends and news to provide timely updates.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers.
• Support the team with data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of research activities.

Qualifications:
• Strong command of Vietnamese (speak, read, and write) and English languages is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in equity research or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal / Reuters is preferred.
