About the job
A global energy trading company is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their team.
Your new company
You will be working with a leading multinational energy trading company.
Your new role
As Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Collaboration & Implementation:
Work with users to clarify, implement, and test use cases and requirements. - Support & Management:
Assist Traders and Analysts on the Market Data Platform, and manage onboarding of new data. - Automation & Improvement:
Automate and implement models/applications, and improve data infrastructure efficiency and speed. - Upskilling & Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest cloud and data technologies, and suggest/implement new market tools.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or relevant studies
- Proficient in Python, Spark, SQL,
- Solid experience in data platforms, e.g. Databricks or Snowflakes
- Familiar with data storage and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- DevOps is a plus.
- Strong/ assertive communicator
